/ If the front door is at the end of a long lane and the lights suddenly go off as you approach–do not continue in the dark.
/ If there’s a silhouette of a rocking chair in the attic window, avoid.
/ If any adult answers the door in a clown costume, make lots of noise and run.
/ Someone in a pointy hat offers you a red apple, tell them your still full from supper.
/ Howling noises from the front room? Avoid.
/ Zombie shuffles from the hall after you’ve rung the bell, turn and run.
/ More than three ravens on the roof? Walk on by.
Do you have any to share?
