The Hosepipe ban.
Can you believe that half of Britain is under a hosepipe ban. Difficult to believe on an Easter Monday washout. But it was the driest March since 1910.
Weird thing weather. Ellie says that she remembers an Easter egg hunt a couple of years ago where they were issuing a snorkel and flippers to get around the field.
Even Ruff admitted that things have changed, which is amazing because he can’t usually remember what day it was yesterday. But he says that when he was in Junior school his grandma used to sew him in to an anorak in October and it stayed on until May.
‘What if you’re a Goldfish though,” Ellie said.
I knew she was on about the water, but Ruff, who was texting at the time and only half listening, said that he didn’t think that they made anoraks small enough to fit them.
